Aprehend has a unique mode of action and should be applied in narrow 2 spray barriers to target bed bugs as they emerge from their harborages. A critical feature of any bed bug pesticide is the length of time that the spray residue remains effective. Our results show that aprehend is just as effective three months after application as it was the day after spraying. They will kill any bed bugs that come in direct contact with the spray but the likelihood of a spray reaching all bed bugs and their eggs is very low.
